Gennaro
NASTI
Head of the Environment Department of the Municipality
of Naples and Chairman of ANEA
EnergyMed aims to
stimulate and encourage a different way of thinking
of energy of energy. Indeed, from this year onwards
the whole event will not be simply a series of company
exhibitions and conferences on energy saving and renewables:
it will also be a hub for meeting and training in
the field. Furthermore the two main exhibition sectors
are right up-to the-minute. Ecobuilding,
will cover all aspects of saving while building, whereas
Recycle will deal with the recycling
of materials, which has become a real survival tool
since the garbage emergency:. Indeed Asia and other
specialised companies will promote innovative technologies
in the field of waste sorting in the Recycle
section. In concrete terms the Municipality of Naples
which, together with Regione Campania, is
one of the chief partners in EnergyMed, has signed
an agreement with Arin to install photovoltaic systems
on 42 schools; hopefully the first ten will be inaugurated
during the EnergyMed event. |

EnergyMed, now in
its third edition, is consolidating its position as
main reference point in Southern Italy for all those
involved with varying roles in the world of renewable
sources and energy efficiency and for
service users who simply want to keep abreast of the
continual advances made in the field.
The conference sector is of major importance to political
groupings, economic operators, researchers and professionals;
a large number of conferences and workshops will be
held from 26th to 28th March. Several conferences
are of particular interest: the two on Sustainable
Mobility and Research in Campania on Renewable
Sources and Energy Efficiency which involve Councillors
Cascetta and Mazzocca; the workshop on Technological
Supply from the Federico II University (highlighting
an innovative wind turbine with carbon fibre arms
designed and built by researchers of the Federico
II Aeropspace group; that on The Use of del Methane
in Public and Private Transport; lastly the Transnational
Intermediation Event organized by Enterprise
Europe Network-Bridgeconomies which the Federico

Michele
MACALUSO
Director ANEA
EnergyMed is a
concentration of innovative technologies and products.
A valuable framework enclosing pellet/biomass boilers,
cutting edge solar panels, thermal insulation systems
for sustainable building, mini wind-powered systems,
low-impact vehicles – cars, motorcycles and
bikes, modern companies which generate energy and
material from refuse, advanced led-lighting systems
and much else besides.
EnergyMed is, therefore, a unique
opportunity to update and learn for all skilled and
professional people involved in the continually evolving
sector of energy and the environment. It is not only
a place for information and training but also for
potential exchange and the stimulus for active collaboration.
Indeed, among the many new events at EnergyMed
this year is BRIDG€conomies
– a large area dedicated to business meetings
which will guarantee productive business to business
talks, which will enable companies to transfer knowledge,
promote their own technologies and set in motion profitable
cooperation. |

GALLOTTI
Director of e-gazette
Our publication has chosen to support
Energy Med because we recognise its major role as
an arena at the heart of the Mediterranean for the
exchange of ideas among companies, local authorities,
research centres, associations, engineers and communication
experts who deal with renewable sources and energy
efficiency. At such a difficult time for the economic
system these themes must take priority on all our
agendas.
E-gazette, www.e-gazette.it,
with 18 million pages read in a year is the leading
Italian publication on energy and environmental topics. |
